Well we were back to it on the 2nd January removing all the beautiful Christmas décor we had installed in November, I always miss the twinkly lights but not the glitter all over my car, house and even the cats!!!!
January is always a busy month for us as we do a lot of site visits and contracting our clients for the year ahead events, and this year has been the busiest yet, I do love it though and we always try to go bigger with ideas, creativity and quirky venues, plus we get to catch up with lovely clients and venues so it’s a win win all round,
We held our first networking event of the year with our friends at Sora and it was gorgeous, on the roof top of Malmaison Deansgate this really is a hidden gem, gorgeous food and staff, highly recommend you giving it a try if you haven’t yet, our next one is on Tuesday and takes us to the Lowry Hotel which we are really looking forward to,
As you know I love a show and this month has been no exception, I went to See Calamity Jane at the Opera House which was so good, and then Mary Poppins in Edinburgh with friends, and yes I did get stranded in the storms but it was worth it, (loved it so much and going again when it tours in Manchester) on Monday our friends at AO Arena invited me to watch the National Lottery Big night of the Musicals which for the 4th year running was held in Manchester, hosted by the wonderful Jason Manford this was such a feel good show with the local lottery funded choir and the Dementia choir stealing the show, a perfect way to spend a wet, cold and rainy Monday,
I will be glad to move into February as January always feels so long, dark and cold, but with the Six Nations Rugby, Valentines and the new Bridget Jones Movie to look forward to , plus the lighter nights I feel good things are ahead……
Have a fab month, if you want a coffee and to discuss any possible event enquiry’s please do drop me a line, don’t forget we offer a complimentary venue finding service too.
